I tried to view this first in the store because they are unusual, but was not available, so after much waiting I purchased. There was a little problem with the hardware, but worked out ok. These are very comfortable, very sturdy and unique. Perfect height for my island. Description was spot on. 1/3/26- update- these are still very sturdy, haven't broken despite the frequent 'barstool scoot' to get to the counter, and resist spots and stains easily. A great purchase.
