This bench is just what we wanted to place at the end of our queen size bed. The color of the leather is what was described in the webpage. The black frame is simple, elegant and appears to be strong.

Quality build, sturdy, great looking, nice leather but firm. I was a bit surprised that it was not as deep as I thought it would be - but that is my fault for not paying enough attention to the dimensions on the website as I was more worried about the width at the foot of a king bed (and the 55" is perfect as far as that goes). One other note - when the box states not to use a sharp object to open, pay attention - I made a small slice in the leather opening with a small knife. I would buy again!
