While I want to love the bed, after spending a bunch of time installing, I later found that the slats of the bed are not fully covered by my queen mattress. This actually poses a huge safety hazard as my child's foot can easily get wedged in between the slats. Additionally, because the slats are not fully covered by my queen mattress, despite being designed for a queen, the front drawers under the bed are accessible through the slats. This is holds true for the sides of the slats as well. Material-wise, the build quality seems sturdy, however the design flaws do impact the look and feel as well as safety.

This piece is beautiful and loved my delivery team. It is very dark gray, almost black while in the picture looks a little more mid-gray. Still love the piece and will keep it.

Aside from the white glove being last minute they told me they were delivering the dresser. It is a nice dresser. drawers sometimes feel stiff pulling in and out but over all it looks beautiful for the space in my room.
