Mads Solid Wood Slat Bed

Love the scandi look and especially this headboard which is unfinished fine sanded oak. Has some nice white gray tones.

I was really disappointed. I purchased this bed because it said it was solid wood but its actually a oak veneer over press board. I would have not known accept the head board was broken off when I got it. I wasnt nearly as upset about the headboard being broken as I was finding out it was a thin oak veneer on press board, not even particular boar or plywood....... But..... I have to give credit to Wayfair for going above and beyond to make thing right and replacing the bed frame.

It's a very nice bed but the wood finish has a very light coat. I am improving it with Howards furniture restoring products. I have bought a number of furniture from Wayfair and it seems to be hit or miss. Some furniture are very nicely finished, others are not. For example, the night stands Callison 1 that I am matching to the bed are well finished. The Dulcio coffee table which I matched to the Lyquinn armchairs is also very well finished. However, the armchairs were very poorly finished and I put in a lot of work to improve them. It seems to me Wayfair should have better quality control. Thank you.
