Lumini Swivel Office Chair

The chair part is great. However, the gas cylinder that comes with it is way too short. At maximum height at a standard desk, I am unable to use a computer. The gas cylinder would be the correct height if the chair were on wheels. Also, the gas cylinder is not a standard size; it is metric 35mm, so it is impossible to find here in the US. A beautiful chair that was let down by poor thinking by the designers. I am still trying to find a solution; Wayfair advised me to order another, but this will just result in the same issue. DO NOT buy it if you want to use it as a desk chair.

Beautiful design… great materials and easy to set up

Bought to use as a desk chair - I was fine with the lower height as indicated BUT.. what I didn't realize is that the max seat height of 21" was measured to the TOP of the seat cushion. Sitting in the chair, you tend to sink down quite a bit.. so yes, it feels too low, even for someone who typically prefers a lower chair. While the height was a mild issue but not a deal breaker, the thing that annoyed me most is that the back is a thin and fragile wood veneer poorly glued to the (very heavy) frame. It feels substantial but is not a quality piece for the price. I think I'm going to be returning.

This chair is beautiful and functional. It slides on the floor very nicely with the foot pads, and the design is so lovely. Really compliments my space.
