I love this ladder bookcase! It fits perfectly, the directions were easy to follow, and it is sturdy.

This ladder is worth the price. It arrived well-packed, it is easy to assemble, sturdy and beautifully made. We placed it in a corner, and it stands as firmly there as against a flat wall. And it doesn't take up a lot of floor space. Very pleased with this purchase.

As far as the product is concerned, I'm happy with the materials, construction, and overall quality. I feel that the online description and photos were accurate. I was somewhat disappointed with the delivery. One edge of the shipping box was wet (not as a result of being placed in water, ice, or snow at the delivery destination.) Additionally, the shelves were not individually wrapped in protective material inside the shipping box, so they were free to bounce around during shipping, and as a result a couple of the shelves suffered some minor abrasions.

I was disappointed with this shelf. It said it was black walnut, but when it arrived, it's just bamboo with a dark stain that doesn't at all look like black walnut. The wood itself is sturdy, and the bolts for the shelves are sturdy, but there's no easy and pretty way to secure it to the wall. It came with wall mounts and zip ties that would be very unsightly, and that's all. Otherwise it just rests gently against the wall. Also several bolts were missing from the hardware. I wish I had saved my money and just built my own shelf, because this one certainly isn't worth how much it cost.
