Jahmal Solid Wood Slat Back Side Chair

Somewhat difficult to assemble alone. I had to use the back of the sofa to prop the chair upside down in order to screw on the seat. It takes 5 screws to attach the seat, and not all screws are alike. Also while attaching the back…one screw hole feels stripped. There are no wood plugs for the screw holes in the back of the chair knocking it way down in score. When paying this much for a chair…it should look more finished.

Rubberwood. Title was deceiving its solid wood, yes, but its not real walnut wood. Just cheap rubberwood. Not worth the price!

I have just so far assembled the first of three I purchased. I'm impressed with the quality. More difficult to assemble than I had thought.

The chairs are great but one of the seats arrived with a crack all the way through. Allmodern was quick to send a replacement part. The assembly was a little more involved but that's to be expected with chairs in this price range.
