Innes Leaning/Ladder Desk

Desk looks absolutely beautiful. Solid and sturdy. Putting it together wasn’t to hard . However some of the hardware and pre drilled holes where not aligning which was a pain in the you know what. Mounting it to the wall was a disaster! The hardware included to mount didn’t work. After drilling many holes in the wall and scratching the paint because it kept sliding, eventually we had to use our own hardware to mount. My advice, don’t use the hardware they provided for mounting. Use your own. One last tip: do not tighten the bolts of the shelves too hard, because the wood will end up cracking.

First desk had bars that weren’t welded correctly, but great customer service because All Modern sent me an entirely new desk. Giving 4 stars for the fact that this item has to be bolted to the wall. And nowhere in the description online does it say that… makes it sound like it just leans and will be stable, but it doesn’t. So I had to hire a handyman to secure it to the wall.

Unable to assemble. Sent 2 of the same bottom brackets. Hopefully they can send a replacement part or it’s useless. To bad because the wood is beautiful. Update. Customer Service was great. Got a whole new desk quickly. Wish they could have only sent the missing part. Seems like such a waste getting a whole new desk. Now I have to dispose of another box and have desk parts you can’t do anything with. Do love the desk.

So I ordered this, arrived within a couple days. I went to set up the metal post and realized one of them was welded wrong and also facing wrong way. I called and they sent me a whole new box. Second desk arrived quickly as well. Very simple assemble. I did skip over the step of actually mounting to the wall. Currently its just leaning in place and not all that sturdy. Will mount to wall next. Very stunning piece, solid mango wood is stunning.

Love this desk! Bought it for my daughters room. Great in a small space. Looks exactly like the picture.
