Illy Cotton Upholstered Bed

Super cute design with upholstered legs! However for $1800 for a queen sized (plus tax) I expected better upholstery. On the headboard in particular- There is gaps on where the interior foam should create the shape and fill in the fabric. But since the foam isn’t supportive enough it creates what looks like a dent and looks bumpy/wavy. Hard to capture in a photo… but see photos… Way too much hassle to return it and we needed the bed assembled for guests.

Good quality for the price, easy enough to assemble, feels pretty sturdy, I just received it so not sure how yet how the bolts will hold, I think they could use some loctite to ensure they stay in place. I have a very thick mattress, suggest an average mattress as there is not much of the headboard showing now, just enough to see only the pillows when propped up on their edges. Delivery process was not the best. I received a one day notice of my delivery window which changed a few times over the day I had to prepare and the drivers felt the box was too heavy and proceeded to scuff up mulitple walls in my stairwell rather than carry vertically or remove items from the box. I recommend taking items from the box and carrying individually up any stairwells.

Great fabric, love the color. Needs 2 people to put together. Well packaged and shipped. There were a few places missing drill holes in the fabric, so we just used a blade to poke a hole as it was drilled unit the wood Update 1 year later we noticed that the center of our mattress was higher. After taking the mattes off, we noticed the interior support legs are 14 inch higher than the perimeter 4 fabric legs. They’re too high, pushing the bed up in the middle. We had to fabricate 6 new wooden legs to accommodate. This could have easily been fixed by making the support legs a bit smaller, as they already have threaded adjustable feet. Would not recommend.

Looks as pictured and low profile is very nice. Great bed.

Even better looking in person. The bed frame is perfectly upholstered, and the slacks are screwed in at the ends so I don’t have to worry about them shifting. Best part is the white glove service delivery. Very happy with my purchase.
