Daylen 86" Velvet Sofa

Great job. Great delivery very professional

The Daylen 86″ Upholstered Sofa presents a clean, classic silhouette with subtle modern touches. Its sage-green (or greige-green in lower light) fabric is elegant and soft, leaning toward a low-pile velvet or microsuede feel. Assembly is minimal: legs screw on in under 10–15 minutes, and back cushions zip into place. The seating is firm but comfortable, offering support without feeling overly rigid. A few caveats: those who struggle with zippers may find securing the back cushions a bit tedious — several users mention leaving them unzipped without issue. Also, the sofa’s color shifts with lighting, so room brightness will influence its appearance. Overall, it’s a refined, well-made option for those seeking a balance of style, comfort, and ease of setup.

The seat cushion isn’t long enough for the couch. There’s about an inch gap on each end of the couch. The color is amazing. The cushion just needs to fit better and it would be perfect.

I tried out this couch in the Wayfair store in Atlanta, so I knew what I was getting when I ordered it. It is the perfect combination of firm yet comfortable. The seat cushions are on the firmer side while the back cushions are a bit softer. The green is a beautiful neutral tone and goes well with a variety of colors. There are no side cushions, so you’ll need to get some pillows if you want to lounge. Without the pillows, my family of four can all fit on the couch, though it is probably best suited for 2 or 3 people. Super happy overall and would definitely recommend!

Update after one week the seat cushion is uneven. Not very good padding. Can no longer recommend. Both myself and my cat are quite happy with this sofa. It’s comfortable and seems of good quality construction. The material is a short velvety microsuede which is soft to the touch and has a nice look. I like that unlike my old chenille sofa my cat’s claws don’t get caught in the fabric and he doesn’t seem to be interested in scratching at it. The sofa is a beautiful green color that varies from medium to dark depending on the lighting. For the sale price of around 800 I feel this was a very good purchase. I’ve only had it about 5 days so I can’t speak to its longevity. I recommend it if you like the mid century modern style and want a sofa material good for cat owners. Cat hair does attach to it but a quick felt type upholstery brushing picks it up in seconds.
