Dakota Standard Bookcase

We searched online and in stores for a long time before landing on the Dakota bookcase, and I'm glad we took our time. We bought two. They're well-built and higher quality than I expected. The wood grain is unusual, but harmonious and not distracting. The legs give them a kind of finished appearance that's perfect in our 1960's apartment. They come assembled - you only have to add the feet - and with the "white glove" service, the guys delivered, set them up and took away all the packing in a jiffy. The only thing I would add is a leveling knob at the bottom of the legs. Our 1960s apartment doesn't have very level floors and it took some futzing with pads to get them even.

Lovely bookcase! Perfect design for holding a large number of books.

Bookshelf was already prebuilt! Just had to add the legs which was super easy. Looks great and very solid.

The wood is beautiful! I almost didn't want to fill it up with my books. I wasn't planning on adding the feet but I really like the way they look. Elevating the bookshelves makes it seem lighter. I only wish I had room for one more!

Excellent quality and finish overall. Wood is solid as well. Just wish it was a bit taller and would have been nice to have the back covered.
