Pretty comfortable. Nice and firm like we wanted. It looks high quality, but the feel of the fabric is so-so (and very absorbent -- no stain resistance here I don't think). This color in my home appears kind of taupe-gray in most light. The delivery was quite swift and on-time which was a pleasant treat. Be aware that the back feels even lower because it is such a firm sofa. Also, there is nothing provided to connect the sectional pieces: they are very much just two separate, matching furniture items, not in fact, a sectional. We purchased this along with the sofa from same company. It does not have storage, but it is very comfortable to just sit on or simply put your legs on it. It is very sturdy and at the same time very easy to move. Very happy with purchase.
