The hooks look good enough, but the screws supplied didn’t work. You can’t screw the threaded side into the hook all the way and have enough screw left to reach to the end of the wall anchor. If it doesn’t go far enough into the wall anchor, the anchor doesn’t split (which is what secures it into the drywall). AllModern wouldn’t take the item back, only offered a partial refund so we could go find screws that were long enough. If you need to mount these to drywall (and want to do it properly), I’d skip these. Or I might find the real branded version of this item, which I believe is called The Dot. It’s not a huge price difference anyway and maybe they are made better.

We love the esthetic of the art, and the function of the coat rack. However the hollow wall anchors are not sturdy enough to make it fully functional. Please improve the anchors or provide other mounting options.
