Adil Writing Desk

This desk is exactly what I needed. I wasn't sure if I should give it 4/5 stars only because of its unreasonably high price but in the end, I decided to give it 5/5 stars!

Overall, I am pleased with this desk. I'd give it 5 stars if not for the price. Even on sale at $590, this desk is expensive for what you get which equates to a basic table constructed of inexpensive materials. The white version is nothing more than medium density wood (which is likely nothing more than compressed cardboard and sawdust) wrapped in a thin lacquer shell. With that being said, it is exactly and all that I personally needed for my purposes. The desk definitely seems fragile. So much so, that - in my first order - one table's packaging came slightly askew and resulted in one of the corners being bashed in during delivery (thus the reason I know what the desks internals are made of). HOWEVER, I was EXTREMELY impressed by how easy it was to get a new desk. Not only did a replacement desk arrive within 24 hours of my return request, but I was told I could keep the damaged item if I wanted it. I kept it and did what I could to patch up the corner so that I didn't have to waste the item and add to a garbage dump site. Even though the desk seems fragile, I successfully mounted a 6x monitor system to the desk. This required drilling holes to mount the system onto the desk. I was a little worried that the weight of the monitors and the compression of the mount would crack the lacquer, but so far it has not. I will add that it is not really possible to add a monitor mount on the desk using a C-clamp. The medal bar on the front and back of the desk is too wide to get a C-clamp around. As such, the only way to use a multi-monitor mount with this desk is to drill holes into the desk OR use a mount that you can clamp to the sides of the desk.

The Bowie desk arrived without any damage; well packaged. It was super quick and easy to put together by myself. Looks very modern and clean in my office.

This desk was worth the wait and I now understand why it sold out so fast. This is exactly what I expected and It went together easily.

The desk came in perfect condition, very well packed and with clear instructions. It was super easy to put together. Simple and modern. A great looking desk!!!
