spent hours and still can’t attach the top panel properly. Screws are not suitable for this type of wood abd there is not much room to put enough pressure. I will return it. poor design.

This is a beautiful desk, and I get a lot of compliments on it! My only negative about this product is that the assembly wasn't super easy. The drill holes that were already made did not line up with the screws so I had to force them in. Not the end of the world, and I was still able to put together with only a screwdriver but it did make the piece far more difficult to assemble.
