Non-skid Bookends (Set of 2)

One of them was Ok, but the other one was wobbly and not finished or put together properly.

Did not notice these are marble, was hoping for a solid black. They still work

These bookends are gorgeous! They have a modern look that pairs well with my antique books- creating an interesting counterpoint. Not too big so they don’t over power the books, but substantial enough to be interesting. Love them!

I was trying to give my bedroom decor a more modern look without spending tons of money and throwing away the decor already in there. These bookends accomplished that goal. I love the way it looks. They are heavy and hold the books in place. Some bookends are too lightweight to do that.

These are nice and heavy to hold up big books, and they look absolutely beautiful. The metal sphere part isn't perfectly smooth like it looks in the pictures, there's like minor pitting, but I think that's unavoidable. Not noticeable from a normal viewing distance, and doesn't distract from it.

First and foremost, they are sturdy. Bookends need to be heavy otherwise they are just decoration. These are both. Although one corner was scuffed, the other 3 are great. They sit on the shelf and balance of modern (sphere) and tradition (marble base).

They're a good solid weight. The balls are actually a bit glossy and the base has a marble design which I read in another review, but wasn't sure how prominent it would be since it's not listed in the description. It definitely changes the look if you have a particular color/design scheme. I'm using in my bedroom, so I can make them work, but I would have preferred them to be all black. Other than that, they're very nice and what I needed.
