Design pioneer Alvar Aalto combined simple design with a craftsman’s expertise to create iconic home design pieces that are functional and sculptural. Taking inspiration from the many lakes in his native Finland, Aalto’s asymmetrical, soft waves have become his creative signature from architecture to glass. Each precious vase is first mouthblown, then hand-cut and polished at the Iittala glass factory. The legendary Aalto glass vases make a striking addition to any home interior and the color brightens every space. The wider size showcases fuller flower arrangements. A perfect gift idea.

Gorgeous color. Well-packed and excellent quality,. Thick-walled glass. Love it, but smaller than I imagined (note to self: check dimensions when buying online!).

A timeless design. Generous opening for long stem arrangements. There is a narrower version available which you may prefer to display a smaller bouquet, eg. 6 roses.

This vase is a classic. Looks great as it stands alone, with fresh flowers or even holding pencils. Perfect accessory to just about anything.
