Florie Sunbrella® Boucle Indoor/Outdoor Throw Pillow

The good *This pillow has a Sunbrella brand label sewn on it. This means it will hold up fantastic in harsh Florida weather. * It is indeed blue (a dark smoky blue). And it is 22” as advertised. The not-so-good *While it is a nice tonal (blue on blue) fabric with a slightly raised texture, it is certainly not boucle. Boucle as most people know (since it has become extra trendy) is a looped fluffy material.

This pillow cover is not a material I’d normally pick (bouclé I’m this case means roughly textured) but I had intended it for a filler for another Wayfair pillow cover. It also is barely 16” the corners are a bit flanged and not mitered. I’d not pick it to use as is, it’ll serve its purpose as a filler for a guest bedroom accent pillow.

Very disappointed with the craftsmanship, specifically the stitching on this pillow. There are several threads hanging out all around on all 4 edges. There were even some black and red threads hanging out which do not match the outside of the pillow. Even after attempting to "fluff" the pillow it has several tucks along the edges.

Sadly the corners are a bit rounded like the picture which I don’t love but the color and texture is great

This is a nice yet very firm pillow. I like the boucle material as its unexpected, especially for an outdoor pillow. For now, Im choosing to use an indoors and when I bring my hammock chair in from the patio will be using this as a backrest. Honestly, its a bit firm for my liking but it should serve nicely as a backrest and does look stylish no matter where its placed.
