12" Medium Pillow Top Hybrid Mattress

Heavier than thought really dense but comfy so far good first night rest…

This is the first mattress I have purchased based on reviews. - based on a Denver Mattress side by side test I'd rate this as a Medium to Firm mattress. Without the pillow top it would be classified as firm/hard. - The bed feels firm when you first lay down, but a few minutes and it feels excellent on your back or side (the pillow top foam forms to your position). - Unpacking the mattress is well worth inviting a few people over for since it is extremely entertaining to watch it inflate from a pancake - the individually wrapped coils dampen any movement, which allows the 2nd person to sleep next to you - Off-gasing was present for about 2 weeks. My wife could smell it in the bedroom only for the first week and not after. I could smell it until about 2 weeks. it's not a horrible smell, no worse than fresh paint on the walls.

I was impressed with the price and quick delivery. The mattress is beautiful, perfect depth. It was my first time buying a mattress online and was nervous so scoured reviews and compared before settling on this one. I was concerned this one would be too soft give the other's reviews...but I actually thinks its on the firmer side of "medium". The memory foam top does give is a plush feel, but it's plush like a firm pillow. Definitely no sinking feeling. It's great at not feeling your partner moving in the bed. It came rolled up and PLEASE READ it comes in a box 5 ft? long and weighs 100 lbs. It is very difficult to manuever by yourself. You need two people or a special trolley/dolly. A luggage or grocery cart won't work. I with much effort and a lot of sweat got it to my bed frame. Cut open the cardboard box and with a lot of difficulty muscled it onto my raised bed frame. Very carefully read the directions for unwrapping it which also was not easy. Note, the paper that has the directions has the warranty printed on the back, so careful not to destroy it while unwrapping. After all that... they rolled the mattress the wrong way, meaning I had to flip the entire thing over. However, I'm very satisfied for the value and would recommend it to others. Also it fit very snugly in the frame I bought from elsewhere.

Was quite comfortable for the first 4 years, but then sagging began, and now after just shy of 5 years, I'm sleeping in a valley. I find the longevity to be very poor.

I bought this bed for my dad’s guest bedroom when I visit. He picked it the frame and since I sleep there when I’m in town I chose the mattress. I like the pillow tops because they breathe, versus the foam, as I tend to overheat. I haven’t slept on it yet but the shipping experience was great and the tracking updates helped my dad a lot. I like all modern and have had good experiences with them in the past. I’m looking forward to my visit next month.
