They are soft and plush, but they shed a lot when you first wash them. May need to wash 2-3 times before item stops shedding

Very nice, plush, waffle-textured washcloths! Not the thin 'fast-drying' waffle weave, but plush and absorbent. The Navy color is rich and saturated and there were few loose threads or sprouts after laundering. Having 12 cloths is perfect so I can use a fresh one each day and still have spares!
