Jorund 1 - Light Vanity Light

The light is exactly what I needed. I live in a 100 year old home and the light fixtures are very close to door so I needed something small. I love the look of it. I gave it 3 stars because the included screws were the wrong size and the way they wanted it hung was confusing. Overall, I’m happy with it.

This light adds a nice, clean look to our entry. The bulb is included and the light has a pleasant glow to it. We had ours professionally installed and, though I didn’t install it, I can share two pieces of information. First, there is a sticker on it that you can see if it’s mounted up higher on the wall (see pic 3). It is removable and I wish our electrician had taken it off because I had to do it after the light was installed. Secondly, they recommend you wear gloves when touching the glass because of oils on the skin. This made removing the sticker a bit more difficult, but I was able to scrape a corner up and finish pulling it off with tweezers. I highly recommend taking it off before installation.

Great light! Instructions were easy and I was able to install it myself. I love how it's 60 watt so I can use only one fixture in my tiny bathroom and the 60 watt bulb lights up the whole room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Generation Lighting Rory 1-light bath vanity wall sconce in satin bronze with the opal glass shade completely transformed my bathroom from basic to boutique hotel level, and I honestly didn’t expect a single fixture to make this much difference. The satin bronze finish has this warm, subtle glow that looks high end without being flashy, and the opal glass softens the light beautifully so you get a flattering, even illumination instead of harsh, unflattering brightness. Installed over the mirror, it throws just the right amount of light for getting ready, bright enough to see clearly, but diffused enough that you don’t see every flaw on your face, which I really appreciate first thing in the morning. The fixture itself feels solid and well made, not flimsy, and once it’s on the wall it looks like something you’d see in a thoughtfully designed spa or boutique apartment, not a generic builder-grade bathroom. If you’re on the fence about upgrading your lighting, this is one of those five-star pieces that instantly elevates the whole space and makes your bathroom feel more polished, cozy, and put together every single day.
