Can't beat Turkish cotton. In 1962 my mother but but bought Turkish towels. She died in 2003. The towels still in use to this day now in my house, barely faded with no damage at all to them.

I was expecting better. After the first wash in cold water and drying on low, the hand towel frayed. They had not even been used yet. They were purchased for use in our guest bathroom, so needless to say I was disappointed with the quality.
