Love it from Jersey City, NJ on 06/30/2015 – Verified Buyer
Even though people were saying things like 'you don't need a changing table you'll just use the bed' we really needed a dresser for all the c*** that comes with babies and lovely things from baby showers. As other reviewers have said, it is a little tricky to put together - in that sense, together with the fact that only the sides of the drawers are solid wood - you could say that you might as well go to Ikea - pay half the price for as much or less hassle. However my husband and I took our time and it has turned out beautifully. I love the modern style, the 'non-handles' make for easy opening, the adjustable shelf in the cupboard section, the color is just as pictured on the site... We have ordered the Hudson crib to match and hope it will look as beautiful as this. We got the LA Contour Changing Pad 30 - it is a little loose but we'll fix that with velcro, and I divided the drawers into sections with OXO Expandable drawer organizers. Pros: Lovely finish, sturdy Cons: Many different parts - separating the bits and bobs before you start will help.

love this so far! from Cincinnati, OH on 05/19/2014 – Verified Buyer
I love how this dresser looks in the nursery! It also seems very sturdy with quality wood, so I'm hoping it lasts many years. My husband and I were able to put it together ourselves by carefully following all directions - we had no problems. I will say however, it took a lot longer to put together than I anticipated. Every single part comes separate - you actually have to build the drawers - connect all four side panels, the bottom, and even screw on the rolling rails. All of this has to be done by hand, not a drill, b/c of the type of wood. None of this was a problem, and it all went great - just letting you know to plan more time than you might think. Love the gray and white and the drawers slide really nice. Great dresser!

Sturdy and great height! from Los Angeles, CA on 07/28/2015
We got this for our son's nursery in espresso/white. The white was too glaring for his off-white nursery, so we painted the door/drawer fronts in an eggshell color before installing them (did a pattern with matte and glossy versions of the same color paint to tie it to the room more). Building wasn't too hard for my husband and I - took maybe 90 min to assemble the body of it then another 20 to install the door/drawers once we painted them. The end result looks great and is nice and sturdy. It matches his Hudson crib perfectly. Pros: Looks, solid piece of furniture

Pretty dissapointed - bad design, cheap looking, hard to build from Brooklyn, NY on 11/06/2014 – Verified Buyer
This piece looks a little cheap, and took nearly 2 hours for a professional handy-man to build. There is a not a lot of value here. I would have been better off buying a piece that shipped built than having to pay on top of the cost to build it. Or I could have gotten something for less at IKEA that would have been easier to build, and would have looked nicer (though the quality probably would not be as good - although this looks cheap, the quality is definitely better than IKEA) It looks cheap because of the finish, and because the lines between parts are not clean - both because of design and how it comes together built. Even if it built more "seamlessly" the design isn't great (proportions, lines, angles). You would not be able to tell this from a picture. I will probably replace it very soon as the cheap and clunky look if it bothers me more as time goes on. I will probably never buy something like this online again

Glad I didn't have to put it together from LA on 03/10/2015 – Verified Buyer
Very nice piece once put together. I ordered this for my twin grandsons nursery. Their cribs are grey and thought this would be a nice addition to their room. I had it shipped to my daughter's house and they texted me a photo of the all the pieces. Like I said"I am glad I did not have to put it together". My son in law took two evenings after work to get this constructed and all I could do was apologize. But, bottom line they really like it and so do I. It seems real sturdy, the drawers glide nicely and it added much needed storage.
