This is a rating for the standard height bunk bed, not the low version. I bought this bed through a different retailer, but wanted to post my review here as a warning. We bought this bed because we wanted a very sturdy bed that didn't wobble when climbed on, and that was made of real wood -- the bed met our expectations there. However, I must say that when we first received the bed, we had a horrible experience. First, the bed arrived in multiple boxes, and there is no explanantion as to which box holds which pieces of the bed. Once we opened all the boxes, we realized some major pieces were missing (the slats for the top bunk and 4 posts). We called the manufacturer and they said those pieces were back-ordered so we had to wait several weeks before receiving them. When we finally received the missing pieces, it took forever to assemble the bed -- my husband and I worked on it for at least 6 hours. There are many, many pieces, and the directions are not very specific. If you are thinking of buying this bed and hate assembling IKEA furniture, think again before buying it. That said, our kids (4 & 6) have been sleeping on it a few months now, and they love it. So, it was a rough process, but it ended well.
