We bought this bed to be our 3 y/o son's first bed. Final assembled product looks great, and railings keep him in bed with no worry of rolling out of bed - which were 2 big reasons for purchase. If you're wondering if the bed is solid wood, it is, with veneers on top. Assembly instructions are easy to follow. There are one or two tricky parts where you could really use a second set of hands to help you, but other than those two moments, it's possible for one human to put it together. Shipping was lightning fast and even arrived a day early. I will say that a non visible part of the headboard arrived with some slight cosmetic damages (a first with AllModern), but AllModern makes addressing that straightforward and relatively painless, and they made it right in no time. It won't stop me from purchasing in the future, and the customer service was top notch. Overall, incredible value for money, good looking bed for our kiddo, safe, and sturdy.
