I recently purchased these plates and they are made of plastic. The plastic is decent quality — not super thin or flimsy, but not extremely durable either. They feel sturdy enough for regular use and hold food without bending too much. However, for the price, I expected slightly better quality. They’re not bad, just not amazing for what they cost. I am really happy with this set of ceramic plates! There are 4 plates total in the set. They feel to be of really good quality and are well made. They are mostly matte with a slight sheen to them. I would describe the color as a faded terra cotta and it is beautiful. They serve well and stack well. Food looks really nice on them. They are very easy to hold and clean.
