Great looking clock. Too expensive for what you actually get. The template for mounting the hour markers should be much more accurate and robust, no just a piece of cardboard that you hook on and swing around the clock face. Great clock for $40…. Love this clock. This is the dark brown. The quality is exceptional, even if the price tag is a little high. It’s time-consuming to figure out where the spokes go, but if you follow the directions, use their template, and use a level to get the 12, 3, 6 and 9 right, it’s not bad. A beautiful wall clock that combines the fine texture of wood and paper. Thomson Paper has a clock face made of an unique design paper called Mermaid, named after the ripples of the sea, the home of the mermaid. Gentle, pleasant, and with superb choice of color, designer Yuichi Nara creates a three-dimensional numbers on the Thomson Paper's clock face using the iconic Thomson die-cutting machine, used to manufacture puzzles. The edges of the number outlines stamped out are naturally rounded like a tensed water surface and drop soft shadows into the spaces stamped out. Part of the Lemnos Plywood core collection.

I gulped a little bit before dropping $170 on a wall clock, but the blue color was just what we were looking for to pick up the same tone as our kitchen island. I also liked the 3D "carving" of the numerals into the paper clock face. Once arrived and on the wall, it hits all the right things and looks great. We are very happy with it.
