Designer bio - Jonas Forsman grew up in småland, a region in southern Sweden that is historically famous for furniture production. From an early age, Jonas learned to save on resources by using as little as possible and making the most out of them. This way of life has become a guideline for him as a designer, facilitating resourcefulness and originality. I start with the function and see if I can solve it in a new way, often by using different materials or new mechanical solutions. Then I cut away all things not necessary and let the function speak for itself, states Jonas. His focus on mechanical function as well as physical style leads to some of the best-led task products in the industry. Crane and Cooper are just the beginning of his work with AllModern – there is much more to come! Jonas studied industrial design engineering in Gothenburg, Sweden where he now has his studio. Jonas has been awarded several red dot awards and design s awards for his innovative and unique products.

Beautiful and easy to assemble. It is a cool design. Do note that the cord extends from the back of the top bar. I still love the lamp, but would prefer if the cord came out the bottom... Bought both the floor lamp and desk lamp.. Barbara. Fairfield, CT. Mon May 06 2024

When the best in design meets clever engineering, the result is the amazing Equo collection. Supported by a pencil-thin body attached to a weighted base, the sleek and elegant desk lamp seems to defy gravity. Mounted to the body is a counterbalanced arm that can move the LED light head up and down and place the light where it is desired with a simple one-finger touch. Extend the slim body 44.75 inches in height and you have the Equo floor lamp. This incredible collection provides a thin yet functional LED light source for any room.

Excellent quality! Bright light! Easily dims and brightens! I needed a lamp in our Master Bedroom when I experience a sleepless night, I could read by without disturbing my Hubby’s sleep! This is perfect! In addition, to meeting all of my needs, the lamp is fully adjustable. The arm lowers, raises, and swivel in every direction. More over, the light beam also swivels so I can light my book but not the room. The lamp wires are completely hidden and offers a very clean appearance. It was packed carefully and easy to assemble. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!. Sharry. Naples, FL. Sun May 26 2019

This 61" LED task/reading floor lamp uses the cord for both electrical and mechanical power. By pulling the cord, a special spring hidden inside the lamp base creates a tension that balances the lamp arm perfectly. This hidden ingenuity allows for feather touch control to adjust the light exactly where it wants. This is a rare lighting collection where the look is as beautiful as the movement.

Beautiful design on this lamp, and I love the easy way it moves. It looks wonderful with my Wayfair lounge chair and bookcase. The lamp did not require any assembly beyond inserting the arm to the base. Quality materials and beautifully finished, fantastic lamp!. Anita. US. Thu Mar 09 2023
