No design project is complete without the addition of eye-catching accessories like the Tawny glass vase. Each mouthblown glass decorative vase is artfully crafted by skilled glassworkers ensuring no two are alike. Offering a perfectly imperfect finish, its organic curves lend a casual vibe that’s at home in any interior, whether ultra-modern, traditional or anything in between. This beige-hued tinted glass flower vase would be lovely displayed on its own as a sculptural element, put to use holding a fresh bouquet of blooms, or displayed with other decorative items in any home or office setting.

This vase is eye-catching, even without flowers. When decorated with flowers, the stalks of the bouquet fall softly to each side of the vase. The gentle curve of the vase and the straight, polished surface on the cut edge form a beautiful contrast. The products are made by experienced glassblowers, and slight tolerances in dimension or character-adding blisters may occur.

Very nice piece. Originally intended to put a bamboo stalk in it, but it looks so exquisite on its own!. Donald. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Thu Jan 20 2022

Global design pioneer Alvar Aalto combined simple design with a craftsman’s expertise to create iconic pieces of home decor that are functional and sculptural. His asymmetrical wave shape for Iittala won the 1937 Paris world fair and became his creative signature from architecture to glass. Inspired by the thousands of lakes in his native Finnish landscape, each legendary Aalto vase goes through a multi-step process at the Iittala glass factory. The crystal is mouthblown then the pieces are hand cut before going through several polishings. The tall vase showcases long-stemmed bouquets while the cool color adds simple sophistication to any home design. Perfect gift idea.

Glass lets the water line and the stem show, so even a single cutting looks deliberate in a vase this small. Its narrow body keeps an arrangement to one or two stems, which is often all a side table wants. Set several along a windowsill or scatter them down a table for an easy, informal look.

Beautiful. The small and large look fantastic together.. Jamie. Slc, UT. Sun Aug 10 2025

Taking inspiration from the natural beauty of his native Finland, design legend Alvar Aalto created iconic home design pieces that are functional and sculptural. In the decades since winning the 1937 Paris World Fair, Aalto’s asymmetrical wave shape has become a timeless symbol of Scandinavian interior design. Each unique vase is the first mouthblown. Then pieces are hand-cut before going through several polishings at the Iittala glass factory. The Aalto vase’s new size showcases long-stemmed bouquets. Adds natural sophistication to any interior. Perfect gift idea.
