Just what we needed. Simple design yet sturdy and practical. The weight is just right. The mugs fit nicely in your hand - not too heavy nor flimsy. These dinnerwares are porcelain (did the light test - the light does shine through a bit but mostly opaque). Stain resistant and lighter than other ceramic. Price is good too.. Kathy.
