I wish the inside was filled with cotton as well instead of polyester but this insert's cover was cotton which felt great! Lightweight & warm & it's a down (feather) alternative which means no feather filling & no birds being violently plucked of their natural coats.. the feather/down industry doesn't use pain killer to the birds either & down is the little feathers on the birds' chests to keep THEM and their babies & eggs warm, not us.. We don't need another animal's coat to be warm at night, we have our own methods and this duvet insert is perfect for a lightweight, fluffy, warm topping on the cake that is our bed lol!. Anonymous.
