I was looking for something to place over my dog kennel to better utilize the space. The console is a very solid, sturdy piece of furniture overall, and very easy to put together! As some other buyers have said, be aware that the drawers aren't a perfect fit and are a different color than the console. Also, the finish of the console appears as more of a painted tan over wood than a true 'light wood' finish. That said, for the price, it's exactly what I expected.
