The bed is absolutely beautiful and the assembly was easy enough. Unfortunately, when the boxes arrived, the bag containing all the hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, etc,) was not sealed and the pieces were loose in the box. Luckily we did not see any damage to the wood due to hardware scratching it in transit. However, when the box was opened the hardware piece's rolled out everywhere. Our proprietary Mineral finish is an opaque wood stain with a light white wash and low sheen lacquer designed to showcase the texture of the wood. The color is a light gray that shows cool or warm depending on lighting temperature.
