This 1-light flush mount ceiling light features a sleek silver frame paired with an opaque white ribbed glass shade. The fixture itself is great and its description and specifications are accurate. Installation could have been easier, however, given that the included instructions were very minimal. They probably expected more experience with installing fixtures than I had, but the instructions consisted of just two pages and a few rough diagrams. One tricky part was getting the globe to hang straight. I used a level to confirm that the fixture itself was correct, but if you completely tighten the fastener that holds the globe in place, it would be crooked. I had to unscrew it slightly and adjust its position with a level to get it right. If the instructions were more robust or included a detailed video, I would recommend this fixture to anyone. As it is, I would recommend having someone with more experience on hand. Besides that, I would also suggest having someone there to help with the labor as the fixture itself has some weight and the wiring will take two hands to do without being able to attach the fixture to anything.. It doesn't work for me. My hall is rather small for this giant glass piece. This requires more space in the hall than I have. The glass is huge, my hall is very tight. I didn't realize this thing was so huge. It works for someone that has more of an open area to put it in because I'm telling you the glass is huge. Was packed very, very well w/no damage but it's just too large for my hallway. I'm having a rough time finding light fixtures. I don't want to buy bulbs, they're too hard to find now days. I was hoping this would work but so much for that idea! My house is only 1600 sf so a lot of tighter spaces than this can accommodate. Nice looking light. You have to arrange the arms to fit within slots in the cap that goes on the bottom, which was more difficult to line up than you'd expect. But it's a good, solid fixture and providers a lot of light, which is what we needed. We wanted to use globe shaped bulbs to match the vanity fixture, and candelabra bases work in this fixture.. It’s nice but funky to get it lined up right. Assembly wasn’t hard. You have to do minor adjustments to get all the parts lined up right. The cap on the center part didn’t exactly fit100 but we got it close. Then the arms needed adjusted to be level. I think it’s becuase it comes all collapsed when it’s shipped.. Sharon.
