However, please be aware that the sloped edges add a complexity of shrinking the usable flat space on top for drinks or anything you want to place on top. I am fairly certain that at some point, someone will place their drink too close to the edge and it will slide right off onto the carpet. I've read a lot of reviews before purchasing this table which I was nervous about since most hated the size and said it was flimsy and cheap looking. Firstly, I disagree with people that give this table 1 star because it's small and looks like a toy. All the sizes are advertised so one shouldn't fault the table for that. It's true though that the table is very compact but it's all relative. I have very low outdoor couches so this was a perfect fit. It could have been a tad wider but alas. We were looking for the perfect size couch for an upstairs covered porch and this fits perfect. Says 10 minutes to assemble but that’s after reading the instructions, and factoring in and subtracting every time you drop a washer or nut or bolt. Cushions are firm and comfortable. Worth the cost.
