The Lantern candleholder by young Finnish designer Harri Koskinen is a light sculpture designed with clear and clean lines. The reflection of the candle inside the mouth-blown glass creates a warm atmosphere – it seems as though the light is hovering inside. The designer himself describes the Lantern candleholder as “light placed upon a pedestal.” The lantern itself is one glass piece with a smaller piece that drops in to hold the candle. A snuffer is included to aid in the lighting and extinguishing of the candle.
