We love this lamp. It was immediately apparent that it was of a much higher quality than similar, cheaper lamps, and very much worth the price. Attaching the post to the base was a challenge. The included wrench was nice, but awkward given the limited angle afforded by the base. I had a very hard time getting the post tight and perpendicular to the base. Love this lamp! Its definitely a statement piece. Only problem mentioned in other reviews would be the tags do peel the gold paint off the inside of the lamp. This lamp is perfect for my needs. I have a narrow black metal end table and needed a lamp with a smaller base and shade but still tall enough to provide light in a dark corner.
