Umbra Otto Automatic Soap Dispenser

This product says that it can handle dishsoap, but it constantly clogs and stops working. In addition, there is no control over the amount that comes out--so you barely get a dribble. You end up actuating 2 or 3 times to get enough soap for a single dish. Unfortunately, online reviews of all other automatic soap dispensers are about as bad. I'm replacing it with a plain old soap pump.

I love the light on the dispenser an the size of the unit. I might buy another one ! I am using this in my salon bathroom .

DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY---YOU MUST SWIPE THE AREA THAT ALLOWS SOAP TO BE DISPENSED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE SOAP IS PROVIDED---THE MOTOR MAKES NOISE BUT NO SOAP. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISSAPOINTED.

Bought two loved the classy style and blackgold() was perfect color for our new bathroom. We have had them three months, used simplyhuman soap in one and softsoap in other ( I wanted to see the difference), both worked great 1st month, now neither can hardly pump the soap out. Husband and son stopped using theirs out of frustration. I have checked batteries, cleaned nozzel, and added water to soap, nothing helped. So disappointed on such a great idea and style! See lots others have had same problem. Sent email to your customer service, was not impressed with reply of just return them to store. Gave it 2 stars for syle and color. Hope you will improve the malfutions and battery lid.

Can't figure out how to get it to work . Looks beautiful. If I can't figure it out I will definitely be returning it.

great design but in order to dispense any soap, you need to place your hand to a certain spot and take it up a bit to hit the sensor which is not very convenient

I got the dispenser for our guest bathroom. After a long search this was the best dispenser pricewise for the interior of the room. Looks very modern, works great dispense just enough soap and I am considering to buy at least one more. I wish they had black with silver accent instead of gold.

I thought the dispenser was a nickel finish, but it is plastic with the appearance of nickel. Not quite as rich looking as I had hoped, but it works well.

Very nice, contemporary look for our office. Quality seemed very good and easy to assemble. Since we've only had the three dispensers for a short time, it is hard to say how long they will last. However, they seem very good so far.
