Thomas Paul Scrimshaw Tray

I love the beautiful deep blue scrimshaw design of the whale on this platter. It is not china or ceramic as I imagined but a melamine type plastic material. It is beautiful however and I plan to display it on the wall with the 4 matching round scrimshaw plates.

It is exactly as shown. Generous size, bought it to go on a wall at the cottage. Lots of compliments about it!

I love the design on this platter - everyone comments on how great it is! I do wish it was ceramic or porcelain rather than plastic, but this will be great for the patio when it gets warmer out!

I absolutely adore this platter! I purchased it for my beach house but it hasn't made it down there yet. I've been using it at home. It's well made, durable. It's even better in person. Love it! Might be purchasing a second one.

I received this plate in exchange for a review of a Wayfair product. Here is my honest review! .... I use this whimsical plate as an every day platter for serving homemade muffins, cookies, breadsticks, desserts, and other goodies with my kids/family. It is made of very high quality plastic, so it's somewhat kid-proof! I also use this platter to take my desserts/foods to adult outings-it's adult-liked also! What a sweet conversation piece it is! I bet I will find other creative uses for it, but I haven't had it long enough to explore the options! Buy it, love it!
