About the Designer
Jae Kyu Lee Korea (1964 - )
Jae Kyu Lee was born in Seul, Korea in 1964, where he gained a degree in architecture. After been awarded a master in design at Domus Academy in Milan in 1996, he lives and works in Italy as architect and designer. One of his projects "Transient Office" has been selected for the permanent collection of M.O.M.A. in New York.
The plasticity of the form of the Eyeball Pendant is born out of the flowing external surface which seams to suggest that the lamp is forever changing, depending on the viewing angle. The diffuser consists of an externally etched, hand-blown, flashed opaline glass. It is injection molded with a polycarbonate diffuser.
