Born in Milan in 1941, Paolo Rizzatto has made a great impact in the fields of architecture, interior lighting and other furnishings. After graduating from Milan Polytechnic in 1965, Rizzatto went on to co-found Luceplan with Ricardo Sarfatti and Sandra Severi and create a large body of architectural and interior designs. His achievements have been recognized by numerous awards, including three Compassi d'Oro, the European Community Design Prize and the Chicago Athanaeum "Good Design" Award.
