Light freshing. When I lived in the Houston area, there was a tree growing on the property line and the ally. Neighbors called it a trash tree, and hated it when it bloomed, The blossoms were pale blue and would leave a sticky residue on cars and patio furniture. Ah but the smell was just like Lilacs, In early spring the tree would put out the flowers first then the leaves. the tree was called the black lotus. In the spring I would cut clusters and put them in a large vase on the kitchen table. Yes it left sticky spots on the table! It was worth it. This candle reminds me of that time in my life. |
