Julian Meagher South African

Julian Meagher studied industrial design in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 1996, he moved to London, UK to pursure a career in product design. He began his professional career working under the wing of design guru Tom Karen of Ogle Design. He has since bolstered his design portfolio working for an impressive array of blue chip clients that include Virgin Mobile, Mattel, Hasbro, Tomy, GSK and Speedo. Focussing mainly on product styling over the years Julian has created his own bold aesthetic that is clearly evident in his own brand, Playforever. Habitat UK and Habitat France recognised this sleek design language in the Playforever collection and placed the first large orders. After his debut product launch in 2005, he has successfully developed 2 further ground breaking designs in the Playforever line.

The Playforever range of toys includes the Classic series -- Bruno Roadster, the Mimmo Aeroplane, and the Enzo Motorbike, the Mid series -- Bonnie, Clyde and Buck, and the Mini Speedy Le Mans. Thick mouldings give it weight and quality parts give it gloss.
