About the Designer
Ralph Krämer Germany (1955 - )
Born in Saarbrücken in 1955, Ralph Krämer’s designs seem imbued with a great deal of momentum. Perhaps this is because after completing his studies in industrial design he worked for a sporting goods company designing surfboards. He has been an independent designer since 1983, specializing in household items, flatware and tableware. His designs have enriched the mono program for the last fifteen years.
Children learn to eat just like the adults with a fully functional flatware set. The knife is sharp, the fork pierces, and with the right size spoon they rapidly learn not to slurp or dribble. When they grow up, they can continue using the set, as a butter knife, dessert fork or cereal spoon.
