Modern/Contemporary: Modern pieces are simple with straight lines. They are typically found in nontraditional shapes and sizes.
Casual: Casual ottomans are typically overstuffed or look fluffy in nature. Casual style is designed for comfort rather than aesthetics.
Transitional: Transitional pieces are simpler than traditional, but not 100% modern. Thye have soft but clean lines, but lack ornate detail like the traditional style.
Cottage: Cottage style are smaller scale upholstery pieces that are slipcovered or pictured in plaid or floral fabrics.
Rustic/Lodge: Lodge style is a rugged look where upholstery piece may have natural wood accents.
