Marta Laudani and Marco Romanelli, architects, have been collaborating since 1986 in the associated studios of Rome and Milan. They work in the fields of design (for driade, Montina, Fiam, O luce, Salviati among others), interior decorating (their work has been published in the most important Italian and international journals and, in 2004, they participated in the Biennial Exhibition of Architecture in Venice in the section ôôNotizie dall'Internoö) and exhibit design (such as the important anthological exhibition ôGio Ponti: a Worldö at the London Design Museum and the Triennial Exhibition of Milan in 2002-2003). Recently, in Rome, they designed the restoration of the ôMuseum of Roman Civilizationö for Fiat Engineering. Both flank their design work with intense critical meditation on topics involving living and design: Marta Laudani teaches ôHistory of designö at the master program for curators of museums of contemporary art and architecture at the La Sapienza University in Rome; Marco Romanelli was journalist of the journals Domus and Abitare.
