This conversion kit was very easy to put together. The minute my son saw his "new bed" he got all excited about climbing in himself. This Oeuf bed is very low to the ground which makes getting in and out of the bed very easy for toddlers. The rails surround most of the bed except for two openings at either side by the foot of the bed. My son has not fallen out of the bed during his sleep, not even when he sleeps by the foot of the bed. He's been sleeping in his new bed for the past 3 weeks or so and so far it's been terrific. Sometimes one of his feet sticks out between the spacing in the rail, but it never gets stuck or wakes him up, so I don't see it as a problem. Overall, I am very satisfied with this conversion kit/toddler bed and would recommend to others.

At the time I ordered this item it did not say it was back ordered but after some time—at the end of the estimated delivery date—I was notified that the item was delayed. It would be courteous to be notified of this delay earlier.

My son loves his 'Big Boy Bed'! We talk about it everywhere we go, and he even 'helped' Daddy put it together - which seemed pretty easy. I love the opening in the railings so he can easily climb in and out - and so far, he hasn't figured out that he can do this at any time. I love how low to the ground it is, so when he does manage to slide his legs off, it's not too far to the floor. We were happy with the crib, and now we're happy with the toddler bed.
