About the Designer

In 1992 she continued her career exclusively in Japan, with a line of fashion and home accessories and the young JOCOMOMOLA line. Since 1996 she has been designing for international brands specialized in design such as Santa and Cole, and Alessi.
Faced with the challenge of blank paper, some authors capture its very essence on designer rugs. A graphic and industrial designer, a painter, a fashion designer and a writer and art gallery director create each of these four exclusive designs, in which four very personal visions of the rug as contemporary object are made clear. A dichotomy. A horizontal canvas. A work of art underfoot. Using a Picasso painting as a reference point, the fashion designer fills the white space with the essential features of flowers. Black stems, petals and the other stalks are interlaced, forming an elemental tapestry. In the line of abstract art, this work implies a rhythm between femininity and toughness, imprecision and simplicity.
