Modus Newport Simple Platform Bedroom Collection

This bed is solid and looks great after it is put together. The only issue I had was in putting the bed together, one of the holes in the slat was in the wrong place. A dremel fixed that, but it was a little frustrating.

The Riva Platform bedroom set arrived promptly, packaged very well and damage free. Very happy with the quality and finish. The set is just as described with dove tailed, solid wood drawer boxes.

I bought the king size bed in espresso, two one-drawer nightstands and a 7-drawer dresser for our guess room. While the quality is rather decent, the set looks less contemporary than the picture. The wood pattern is very obvious and the metal handles are rather shiny, which make the whole set look less appealing. The nightstands are too high for the bed. With all these said, the set is quite sturdy. Seems to be well-made.
