Nice frame I bought this frame when I bought a new mattress and adjustable base. The bed arrived in 3 packages, the head and footboard, the side boards, and then the slats. The packaging looked a little worse for wear, but I checked as soon as all was off the truck and all was well. The frame went together very easily with the included screws. Only note I have is that if you're getting a adjustable base like the ones from Serta or Tempurpedic, you will need to remove the support rails for the slats that are on the inner side of the sideboards. These are screwed in, but can be easily removed with a power drill and crosshead bit. Overall very happy with the purchase. |

Surprised and disappointed with construction i was shocked to find that with normal use the side rail on my bed split in the middle and that upon inspection i found that such a load bearing component was made of composite wood. Product description says solid wood Since the bed had a budget price I could understand that the verneer could be somewhat thin, which it is, but it is inexcusable that the rail isnt made of solid wood. I was glad that there was an option to salvage the bed by buying a replacement side rail for 80 but that didnt make up for my disappointment at needing to in the first place. |

Perfect The bed is perfect for what I was looking for. Solid wood frame, nice finish and put it together by myself in about 30-45 minutes (although would be much easier with another person). Very happy with purchase. |

Very nice bed but a few issues. This bed was delivered to me this past Wednesday. Overall, I love it. I am using it with a memory foam mattes (12"), and I love the low-profile. It arrived in 3 boxes and was easy to put together. I recommend having someone help you. Make sure the side rails are facing the right direction (arrow stickers facing up) so the support that runs under the bed will fit properly. The bed is a gorgeous cherry stain - a perfect blend of red and brown. My only issues with the bed are: 1. there is a small area on one of the side rails that did not get stained, but did get varnished over, so staining/touching up that area will be impossible. I had that side rail face the wall, so it won't be noticeable. 2. the center support may not be enough to properly support a memory foam mattress. I was lucky and had a center support from the bed I was replacing, so I used that and doubled up. You can easily make extra supports out of a few pieces of lumber, a hand saw and some wood screws if needed. 3. The pilot holes for the cross-slats don't line up. A power screw driver will do the trick on this when installing the cross slats. Minus these flaws, I would definitely recommend this bed. It's really gorgeous. |

Great platform bed I ordered two of these platform beds for our new home. They arrived via truck delivery in heavy boxes. The driver brought them right up the driveway and put them in our garage. We removed the cardboard and were very happy to see the quality. The beds went together easily. I would highly recommend them. |

Great value A beautiful piece of furniture for the money, extremely good value. The only reason it didn't receive 5 stars is because the assembly instructions had three errors in them, and for somebody who has never put together a platform bed, this may cause problems as they put together the slat construction, otherwise, all is well. The style fits right in nicely with my eclectic collection of furnishings. |

Good Value for Money Main Use: Master bedroom Value for Money: Great bed for the price Look: Elegant, not bulky Drawbacks: a. SLATS: not finished, rough and not aligned properly. Even though these are never seen once a mattress is on, its nice to have slats that are finished. b. BACKREST: gaps in varnish where the vertical pieces meet the top and bottom horizontal beams. With a mattress, the area towards the bottom of the vertical pieces where varnish is missing is not visible. c. BASE CENTRE BEAM SUPPORTS: flimsy, could be sturdier |

Reasonable for price: Some issues [...]. Instructions are reasnable accurate and clear. It takes about 1h and a single person can accompish the task.Quality of overall bed (finished wood) is very good: sleek, well finished and sturdy. The vertical wooden slats are not missing sprayed on varnish at the points of joining the main wood of the headbopard showing tiny cylinders of unstained hardwood. This is a minus. Thi needs to be touched up. ALl the predrilled screws in the slats don;t line up and the instructions stating that all the main assembly needs to be readjusted to align these is plain ridiculous. YOu may have to drill new holes in some of the slats. Finally the picture does not show the center leg supports. These have to be fully extended (the screw inside that is) to reach he floor to provide support and one closest to the foot rail is visible from front and this is not desirable (perhaps this last support can be removed since load is minimum on this scetion of bed?). Overall though good value for money. |
